Accidental use of Concentrated Lye . Enumerator Notes On line 2 in the case of Arthur Loomis the Physician called in claimed that the child had in some manner been poisoned and that the symptoms were unmistakable- the parents however insist that the Doctor was in error and claim that it was impossible for the child to have been poisoned in any way. The child "had a high fever" is all information they can give. REMARKS: In addition to the above names there were two men killed by Indians in this County in March 1870 Concerning where no information as to names ages ** could be obtained. Their bodies were found badly mutilated and were buried by persons travelling through that region (i.e. between Kiowa and Bijon Creeks)
