Most of the names, ages, etc. are covered with old blackened tape and cannot be read at all. In November, 1849, Isaac Asher settled on section six of what now comprises Indian Village township. On December 25, 1854, Isaac Asher moved to the west half of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of section 8, Indian Village township, where he remained until his death, in 1860. =============================================================================
