1910 CENSUS BALTIMORE CITY (ward 1) (Reel #T624-552) (PARTIAL TRANSCRIPTION) (PLEASE NOTE THIS TRANSCRIPTION INCLUDES ONLY 30 PAGES (thru 15B) OUT OF 264 PAGES ON FILM FOR WARD 1) Transcribed by--Pauline Leitner (email address--PLeitner@aol.com) Proof read by--Robert Leitner Reel #T624-552 includes both Baltimore County and Baltimore City as follows: Baltimore County is first on film-- Vol 10 has pages 1-283 district 12 Vol 11 has pages 1-204 district 1-14 Baltimore City ward 1 is at the end of film-- Vol 12 has pages 1-264 districts 1-6 and 15-19 Every effort has been made to accurately transcribe the early handwriting and poor copy. The page numbers are listed consecutively as 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, etc. The number 1 appears at the top of page, and the 'B' pages will not have a number. The next numbered page will be 2. Obvious errors are denoted in the remarks column such as a one year old in school, or an adult worker listed in school. Or a male or female who could be the opposite. An asterisk (*) is used in a name when a letter is not clear. Many of the pages were poor film copies and it is recommended the original film be viewed for any names with * or question marks. Some words were not spelled as we know them today but were copied as they appeared on the census. If there is a date after the name it is the year they immigrated. Other very helpful information is how long a couple had been married and total number of children and number living as of 1910 census. (Example: male m1 10y, wife m1 10y 7chn 5 living---If there is a m2 it means that person was married twice.) May this transcription help in your research and if you need help please email the name you want to research and I will respond. Pauline Leitner-email PLeitner@aol.com **********
