On the 1860 Federal Census is found William Wilkins, with wife, Sarah, and children as listed on the 1870 Census in this household. It cannot be determined whether or not wife, Sarah, was alive and in this HH on this census but it is most likely that the enumerator transposed the first and last name. I have corrected the last/first name order but "Sarah" remains enumerated as a Male, although the age would seem to indicate that this person is, indeed William Wilkins.
