ENUMERATOR'S REMARKS: The two first names were in Samish precinct the next 5 were in Whatcom precinct the next 4 were in San Juan Island and the last two in Skagit precinct. Just before going to San Juan I received the acto of May 1870 dispensing with Schedule 2 so that I did not make inquiries regarding *** subject while there. After **** I received your letter requesting the mortality statistics to be filled. I intended to have got all the necessary information from San Juan afterwards but your dispatch rendered it unnecessary these are all deaths that **** on San Juan, **on any of the other islands.
